Roman Z. Morawski (born in 1949) is the holder of the M.Sc. degree in measuring instrumentation (1972), the Ph.D. degree in computing (1979), the D.Sc. degree in measurement data processing (1990), and the Professor’s title awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland (2001). His research interests are focused on software aspects of measurement. He has published ca. 260 papers in this domain; he has been, moreover, a co-author of 14 international patents (USA, Canada, 6 UE countries). He has been lecturing on measurement science, measurement data processing, as well as on methodological and ethical aspects of technoscientific research. He has published ca. 100 papers on higher education, university management, research methodology and research ethics. The second edition of his textbook Methodological and Ethical Aspects of Technoscientific Research appeared in 2024. He has been an academic employee of Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) since 1972; as Full Professor – since 1993. He spent more than 10 years of his academic career in various academic and industrial institutions of EU, UK and Canada. His name appears on the World’s Top 2% Scientists Lists issued annually by the Stanford University in collaboration with the Elsevier publishing company.
